The 8 Track was a pivotal point in music history, sonically speaking of course. Although the 8 Track never really caught on in the UK, it was in America where it really took over the nation. The 8 Track was born from the ropey sound of radio stations in the early 1950s. Record companies, wanting to make sure their artists sounded the best on radio, would record to 8 track and deliver it straight to the radio stations. It became a distinctive part of the American car culture of the 50s and 60s when Ford introduced the first 8 track player in their Mustangs towards the end of the 50s.

Hey all, Dave here. Now of course I'm going to blow my own trumpet, but truth be told I spent 9 weeks touring the US last summer and I have a few different types of Tee and this type was one of my favourites. It's light weight, only 155 grams or 4.75 ounces in old money, but the combed cotton feels really awesome. Especially in hotter climates. It tends to float on the skin amplifying that feeling of a product that is really next level.

The print is a discharge ink which means that the print sits in the cotton and not on it, so to speak. I love this type of ink because it's subtle and creates longer lasting print that look nearly vintage from the start.

I would naturally go for a medium, and this is what the model in the image is wearing.
